Senior Full Stack Algorand Blockchain Developer

2.  About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Full Stack Algorand Developer to join our core team. In this role, you will lead the development of our blockchain-based insurance solutions, working across the entire stack to create robust, scalable, and secure applications on the Algorand platform.

2.1  Key Responsibilities
– Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Algorand blockchain technology
– Lead the architecture and implementation of smart contracts for our insurance products
– Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
– Mentor junior developers and interns, providing technical guidance and code reviews
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
– Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology, particularly within the Algorand ecosystem
– Contribute to technical decision-making and product strategy
– Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation

3.  Required Skills
– 1+ years of experience in full-stack development
– 1+ years of experience with blockchain technology, preferably Algorand
– Strong proficiency in Algorand’s development ecosystem, including TEAL and PyTeal
– Expertise in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js)
– Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
– Solid understanding of cryptography, distributed systems, and blockchain consensus mechanisms
– Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

4.  Preferred Qualifications
– Experience with DeFi protocols and smart contract auditing
– Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
– Knowledge of other blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana) for cross-chain integration
– Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the blockchain space
– Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies
